Here is where we try to salvage the carpet. This procedure is most effective on cat urine spots. This is where the carpet is temporarily removed, pad is replaced, sub floor (if it is salvageable) is sealed, and all tac strip and floor molding is replaced. Then, both sides of the carpet is pretreated, cleaned, flushed, and reengaged.
